Gina and I met as residents in 1996 at UT Southwestern. We bonded over laughter, shopping, and trips to Las Vegas, Arizona, and a cruise we took after completing residency. She is and remains my friend for life. It is hard to fathom that I can not see, talk to, or touch her. I miss her terribly. Her loss is immense to all who loved her.
